Biocodex is a pharmaceutical company focused around microbiota care, women’s health and orphan diseases. The Big Question campaign promoted a new study around the probiotic yeast strain Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-74, with new evidence showing it was more effective than its main competitor within the market.

The WallaceHealth team and I created concepts which I pitched to the client and worked closely with them to achieve their business goals. These concepts became assets including an animation, clinical summary, detail aid, leave piece, emails and GIFs.

One of the main challenges with this brief was making the campaign resonate with multi markets including France, Asia, Africa and Mexico. I carefully curated a library of imagery we could use which was sensitive to these different cultures.

Computer screen displaying a presentation slide with a large question mark, the text 'The Big Question: Are all probiotics the same?', and a close-up photo of a young child's face.
Two scientific research posters on a light purple background. The posters are titled 'Randomized, direct comparison study of Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 versus multi-strain Bacillus clausii probiotics for the treatment of pediatric acute gastroenteritis.' They include charts, graphs, and sections of text with detailed scientific information.
Four smartphones displaying different articles and social media posts about probiotics and their impact on IBS management. The screens show text, images, and icons with a blue and purple color theme.

Although the concepts visualised here weren’t the final outcomes, I’ve included them to show my thought process behind the campaign.

The main theme is a head-to-head between two competing probiotics. I created personas for each strain and showed personality in how they move and interact with one another.

A collage of six slides from a presentation, including topics on probiotics, pediatric diarrhea, and probiotic research, with visuals of citrus slices, a child on a beach, and data charts.
